LyoDry Grande freeze dryers are ideal for pilot scale or production scale freeze drying of pharmaceutical products. With a large capacity condenser and shelf drying area, LyoDry Grande is suitable for bulk and vial drying, with optional stoppering and pressure control if required.
LyoDry Grande is a fully automated lyophilizer with touch screen control and controllable shelf temperatures. LyoDry Grande freeze dryer uses the latest technology in vacuum, refrigeration and control, providing accuracy, reliability and reproducibility in the freeze drying process.
Freezing, primary and secondary drying, end point determination, backfill and stoppering sequences are all controlled by a central processor unit. This allows complex pressure/temperature profiles to be controlled accurately and reproducibly without operator intervention.
Clients include blue chip pharmaceutical , food and beverage, university, government research centres and archaeological conservators.
SHELF DIMENSIONS AND TEMPERATURES
LyoDry Grande freeze dryer is supplied with 9 product shelves.

Each individual shelf measures: 375 mm W x 500 mm D with an area of 0.187 m². This provides a total shelf area of 1.69m² across 9 shelves.
The shelves provide low controllable shelf temperatures, with an accuracy of better than ± 0.5°C. of either:

CONDENSER CAPACITY AND TEMPERATURE
The LyoDry Grande has a 30Kg capacity ice condenser, with condenser temperatures of either:

STOPPERING (optional)
Nine temperature controlled shelves can be moved up and down via an hydraulically operated ram for stoppering, if required.

A full system mimic on the touch screen display provides a user friendly interface, giving a clear indication of system status.
Process variables and product temperatures, systems status and fault indicators can be viewed in real time via the user-friendly, touch screen operator interface, or logged continuously to memory. Also includes comprehensive alarm management system.
INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING
LyoDry Freeze Dryers are fully assembled and factory acceptance tested before shipment.

Installation, commissioning and site acceptance testing can be carried out in the client''s presence. IQ/OQ available if required.
Commonly available component parts ensure a long life and ease of maintenance.
MechaTech Systems offer maintenance contracts with preferential rates and priority, or servicing is available on demand.
