LyoDry Maxi Freeze Dryers are designed for pharmaceutical laboratory applications and are fully automated with touch screen control and controllable shelf temperatures, ideal for pilot scale or lower volume production freeze drying.
Freezing, primary and secondary drying, end point determination, backfill and stoppering sequences are all controlled by a central processor unit, allowing complex pressure/temperature profiles to be controlled accurately and reproducibly without operator intervention.
Suitable for freeze drying material in bulk, or in vials, with an option for stoppering, LyoDry Maxi is designed to fit easily through a standard lab doorway, and requires only mains electric supply.
Clients include blue chip pharmaceutical , food and beverage, university, government research centres and archaeological conservators.
SHELF TEMPERATURES & DIMENSIONS
LyoDry Maxi freeze dryer is available with either 3, 4 or 5 product shelves.

Each individual shelf measures: 360mm W x 480mm D with an area of 0.172 m².
The shelves provide low controllable shelf temperatures, with an accuracy of better than ± 0.5°C. of either:

-60°C to + 60°C (Part No: LSM60)
CONTROL
A full system mimic on the touch screen display provides a user friendly interface, giving a clear indication of system status.
Process variables and product temperatures, systems status and fault indicators can be viewed in real time via the user-friendly, touch screen operator interface, or logged continuously to memory. LyoDry Maxi is factory fitted with an integral graphic chart recorder and a comprehensive alarm management system.

In excess of 200 process profiles (recipes) can be stored and retrieved for accurate and reproducible freeze drying with endpoint determination.

INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING
The compact design allows the equipment to move easily through standard sized laboratory doorways.
Commissioning is simple and straightforward requiring only mains electric supply (no pneumatic or water services needed).

LyoDry Freeze Dryers are fully assembled and factory acceptance tested before shipment.
Installation, commissioning and site acceptance testing can be carried out in the client''s presence. IQ/OQ available if required.
Commonly available component parts ensure a long life and ease of maintenance.
