The Smart Replacement for Modulyo Freeze Dryers

Originally developed as a smarter, modern replacement for (now obsolete) Modulyo freeze dryers (formerly manufactured by Edwards and Thermo Savant), LyoDry benchtop freeze dryers integrate with most Modulyo chambers and accessories - so you can upgrade part of your system without replacing the whole thing. It's also worth noting, if you have an existing Modulyo freeze dryer, that we supply spare chambers and accessories and maintenance.

All LyoDry benchtops are small footprint freeze dryers, suitable for freeze drying pharmaceutical, food or biological samples, and include the following as standard:

LyoDry Compact Benchtop freeze dryer

LyoDry Compact freeze dryer is perfect for labs and research teams needing a compact, cost-effective freeze drying solution.

This is our best-selling, most cost effective, entry level model, which features a bright LCD screen with simple commands. Vacuum pressure can be displayed in millibar, Torr or pascal and temperature units in Celsius or Fahrenheit which are easily selected by the operator. System status is instantly visible, making operation intuitive and efficient. We can also offer a hire-to-buy option for this model to help ease the initial financial burden.

LyoDry Benchtop Pro freeze dryer - with advanced freeze drying control

LyoDry Benchtop Pro freeze dryer is Ideal for pharmaceutical and R&D applications requiring more control and repeatability

This model is ideal when more control, traceability and repeatability is needed in a freeze drying process. The Benchtop Pro includes real time and historical trending of temperature and pressure values, data logging, pressure control, touch screen control, password-protected user accounts, USB and ethernet comms. If it's used with our Heated Tray Accessory, freeze drying 'recipes' can also be utilised.

Accessories, Vacuum Pumps & Trolleys

We supply both rotary vane oil pumps and oil-free dry pumps, or we can advise on the suitability of your existing vacuum pump. A purpose-built stainless steel trolley is also available, offering portability and a more convenient working height than standard lab benches.
